Taylor in Venice Beach
Something I’ve noticed after years of traveling is that we native Texans seem to find and gravitate to each other all over the world. I’ve done whiskey shots with Texans in Australia, seen a couple wearing a UT Longhorns shirt in Stockholm, and line danced to honky tonk with the best of them at Skinny Dennis in Brooklyn.
Which brings me to the inimitable Taylor Bryant. She ended up in Los Angeles and I had dreamed of working with her for a while but it seemed like it would never happen. As with any shoot on the west coast, schedules change faster than the blink of an eye and priorities get shuffled. Thankfully on my most recent trip, we were able to meet up at a gorgeous space near Venice Beach and finally make some magic.
True to her Texas roots, she was so down to earth, easy to work with, and brimming with that classic Southern charm.
